"More weave in 2014"

"The woven tapestry commission for my friend's sisters wedding is now almost halfway complete!I hope to have images of this on my blog in early 2014.Very happy too, that,starting in 2014, I will be creating original handwoven panels for one of the bag designs for my friends, Lou and Ross of Leo Designs,based in Perth.More details of that,once I have started creating for them.This will further my weaving skills..and keep me happily creating!I also hope to create a SheduDesign online shop selling small gift items that I create...and hope to be running more children's art workshops similar to the ones in Aberdour which I so enjoyed giving."

Weaving commission underway.

"I have now started weaving the tapestry weave commission piece for my friend's sisters wedding. I am weaving a golden heart at the moment, which will hang from the finished piece. I am really excited to be started on this, and hope to have photos of the weaving progressing, on my blog soon."

Childrens Art Workshops

"The childrens art w/shops I have been giving for almost three months in Aberdour will conclude on the 17th December.I have been totally in my element giving these w/shops, (please see art w/shop page).I hope to give similar "after school" w/shops at the Fergusson Gallery in Perth..I will find out if they will go ahead next year after mid December 2013. I am very happy to travel within a reasonable radius of Perth to give more of these kind of w/shops if anyone is interested.My contact details are on the art w/shop page..I am happy to be contacted by email also for this.I have plenty creative ideas for giving more w/shops!"

New Mexico painting

"The woven tapestries I create are usually inspired by my paintings or photos,then I will start on sketches for any weavings...occasionally weaving ideas will just start with a sketch or idea. I looked at different aspects of healing as source material for my Art College Degree..hence the New Mexico visit,never realising that years on, I would become a Reiki Healing practioner! I feel strongly that all my creativity connects,and can inspire each other. Music can inspire the art,and vice versa..healing connects with it all too,as Reiki can open out any creativity."
